Members of Routt County Riders are doing some clean up along the highway this Wednesday, Sept. 25. Lucy Winslow is the Programs and Event Coordinator for Routt County Riders. She is organizing the trash pickup.

 

“We love to maintain this stretch of highway as it is popular with cyclists and then also with everyone who commutes to and from Oak Creek and Steamboat. So we just want to make sure this stretch of highway is all clear of debris before the incoming snow hits it.”

 

Meet at River Creek Park at 5 p.m. today. That’s at Hwy 40 and Walton Creek Road if you want to help KEEP ROUTT CLEAN.

 

There will also be a contest as to who finds the best Trash Treasure along the side of the road.
