The baseball diamond at Craig Middle School is getting many improvements. This is where the Moffat County High School baseball and softball teams play. Work begins today.
New dugouts are being built by about 15 students in the Structure and Design class at the high school.
But there’s more, according to Moffat County High School Principal Ryan Frink.
“Overseeding the outfield, the homerun fence for softball, all brand new clay dirt for the infield. The maintenance crew, our community, the coaches, the district, has all pitched in to re-do the entire fence to make this place something that Moffat County can be proud of.”
The new dugouts and improvements will be complete before the start of baseball season in the spring.
The Moffat County Girls Softball team hosted Aspen in a doubleheader Tuesday. The Bulldogs won both games, 21-6 and 25-15.
