Dwight Yoakam has teamed up with Post Malone for his first new music in nine years with “I Don’t Know How to Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom)” off the singer-songwriter’s forthcoming studio album Brighter Days due out November 15.

The 12-track release will features 10 original songs, as well as covers of “Bound Away,” by Cake, and the Carter Family classic “Keeping on the Sunny Side” It is Yoakam’s first full-length since 2016’s Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars….

Yoakam wrote I Don’t Know How to Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom) specifically for a duet with Post Malone, who recently released his country album F-1 Trillion.
