The Creek View Grill restaurant in Hayden caught fire early Wednesday.
“So sad, so surprised when they called me at 4 o’clock in the morning. I never thought this would be happening to me, you know.”
That’s owner Maritza Juandedios.

West Routt Fire in Hayden got the call at about 3:30 a.m. Here is Assistant Fire Chief Brad Parrot.
“When we arrived on scene, there was some fire coming from the eaves on the south side of the structure. We were able to make a quick attack on the fire, knock the fire down, and then just move into overhaul on the structure.”
Hayden Police reports that no crime is suspected. There will be an investigation.
Sandy Messing is a loyal customer and she says Creek View Grill will reopen as early as next week, but with a food truck.
“So Maritza is planning on getting things situated this weekend. We are hoping to be possibly open come Monday, maybe early next week, with a possible food truck and we will move forward from there.”
The Creek View Grill is on the west side of Hayden.

The Moffat County Bulldogs have a THURSDAY NIGHT game this week. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. tonight against Aspen. Here’s Bulldog Adam Delay on the game.
“I think that it’s going to be a really good game. They have a really strong passing game. And I think that if we can get our pass defense down, I think that we can hammer them down a little bit. I’m really hoping for a win that game.”
It is also Dad’s Night tonight for Moffat County.
