Students applying to go to college at 32 Colorado colleges and universities next year can apply for free through Thursday, Oct. 17. It’s a statewide program.

 

Jeanne Logan is the SoRoCo High School Academic Advisor. SoRoCo seniors gathered in the lobby of the high school in Oak Creek Wednesday to work on their applications.

“Our kids are coming in and applying to colleges here in Colorado, free of charge, these next couple days. Then our kids who don’t have intentions to go to college will be doing a career search.”

 

SoRoCo has 19 seniors in the Class of 2025 this year.

 

The 2024 Colorado Free Application Days runs through Thursday, Oct. 17. So today is the last day to apply. Some Colorado colleges, like Colorado Mountain College, never have an application fee so applying is free year-round.
