Casey’s Pond Senior Living celebrated a ribbon-cutting Tuesday, and its new partnership with Northwest Colorado Health.
Here’s Stephanie Einfeld with Northwest Colorado Health.
“It is here because the Yampa Valley community cares about its neighbors and each other and taking care of each other.”
Many in the community who helped bring Casey’s Pond out of receivership were there, including Yampa Valley Community Foundation, who helped coordinate the efforts of raising millions of dollars to make sure Casey’s Pond continued on, after 11 years in the Yampa Valley.
There was a toast by Executive Director Jeanine Woosley.
Karen Street was introduced. She was the first resident of Casey’s Pond. She thanked Tim Wohlgenant with Yampa Valley Community Foundation by giving him a framed picture.
