Casey’s Pond Senior Living celebrated a ribbon-cutting Tuesday, and its new partnership with Northwest Colorado Health. Here’s Steph Einfeld with Northwest Colorado Health.
“It is here because the Yampa Valley community cares about its neighbors and each other and taking care of each other.”
Many in the community who helped bring Casey’s Pond out of receivership were there, including Yampa Valley Community Foundation, who helped coordinate the efforts of raising millions of dollars to make sure Casey’s Pond continued on, after 11 years in the Yampa Valley.
There was a toast by Executive Director Jeanine Woosley.
Karen Street was introduced. She was the first resident of Casey’s Pond. She thanked Tim Wohlgenant with Yampa Valley Community Foundation by giving him a framed picture.

Turn in your ballot and get it counted. There is still time to mail it in or you can drop it off at a secure drop box.
In Moffat County, the ballot is one page, front and back. It is longer in Routt County. Here is Routt County Clerk Jenny Thomas.
“Routt County has a two-page ballot this go around so please remember to vote and return both pages of that ballot and sign the return envelope.”
Dropboxes in Routt County are behind the historic courthouse town and on Shield Drive near the CLEF building. You can also take your ballot to the Hayden Town Hall, Oak Creek Town Hall, Yampa Town Hall, and Clark Store during their regular business hours.
In Moffat County, the ballot dropbox is at the main entrance of the courthouse building on Victory Way.
