UPDATE at 9:40 Wednesday morning.
The name of the person who died last night in the three-vehicle crash on Highway 40 has been released. He is 38-year-old Daniel Sundar-Baker of Craig. Routt County Coroner Mitch Locke has notified his family and released his name this morning. Our condolences to his friends and family.
Slippery roads on Tuesday resulted in crashes and road closures throughout Northwest Colorado. There was one fatality west of Milner at Mile Post 118. There were three vehicles involved in that crash and all three drivers were from Craig, according to Colorado State Patrol. The Routt County Coroner is notifying the family.
Election results were still coming in late into the night. While results are unofficial, races were being called.
