The Moffat County Girls Wrestling Team took first place at the Western Slope Showdown at the Montrose Events Center over the weekend. The team was 90 points ahead of the second place team. RESULTS
The Moffat County Bulldogs girls wrestling team is a combined team of 20 athletes from Craig, Hayden, and Steamboat Springs.
Here’s the list of those on the Moffat County team, and the Northwest Colorado community they are from, listed by wrestling weight, name, place, and hometown.

- 115, Ryleigh Headman, 4th place, Moffat County
- 125, Sydney Preston, 3th place, (wrestles for Moffat County from Hayden)
- 125, Miriam Jimenez, 5th place, Moffat County
- 130, Kayla Deaton, 2nd place, Moffat County
- 135, Haylee Staker, 1st place, Moffat County
- 140, Amanaki George, 2nd place, (wrestles for Moffat County from Steamboat Springs)
- 145, Vanessa Herrera, 1st place, Moffat County
- 155, Callah Caperton, 6th Place, Moffat County
- 170, Niyla Ennis, 1st place, Moffat County

The SoRoCo Girls team also participated in the Western Slope Showdown. Three girls went, and the team finished 15th overall.
