Routt County Humane Society Seeks Community Support for Essential Items Including Commercial Dryer and Security Cameras
[Steamboat Springs, CO – January 24, 2025]
The Routt County Humane Society (RCHS) is calling on the community for urgent support to address two critical needs that ensure the safety and well-being of the animals in its care and the staff and visitors who support their mission to be a community resource that helps animals in need through sheltering, adoption, education, veterinary services, and community outreach.
Currently, the shelter requires:
1) A new commercial-grade dryer to manage the extensive daily laundry load, including fresh bedding and clean towels, which are essential for the comfort and health of the animals.
2) Outdoor security cameras to enhance the safety of the shelter’s premises and help provide peace of mind for staff and patrons and the safety of the animals.
How You Can Help:
To meet these needs, RCHS aims to raise $4,000, which will cover the costs of the dryer and security cameras. To donate, please visit https://routthumane.org/donate-support/ and write “Dryer & Security Cameras” in the comments.
The community’s generosity has always been the backbone of RCHS’s efforts to provide compassionate care for animals in need.
