Steamboat Springs wrapped up the 112th Winter Carnival with horses and kids racing down Lincoln Avenue this weekend. The Night Extravaganza at Howelsen Hill featured skiers and snowboarders from Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, the Lighted Man, and plenty of fireworks to thousands in attendance.

The Humane Society of Moffat County is in need of a few things. The animal shelter in Craig needs canned cat food, bleach, and Arm & Hammer Oxi Clean powder laundry detergent. Dropoff locations are at Bear Creek Animal Shelter, or Craig Storage.
