The Hayden District school was placed on a hold status Monday afternoon, after a disturbance in a classroom. The hold was lifted, but another incident, related to the first, happened shortly after off-site, so local law enforcement recommended the Hayden School move into a lockdown. That lasted about 15 minutes. Hayden Police were able to detain the person allegedly involved. Hayden Police Chief Scott Scurlock said Monday night that that suspect is in custody and is a juvenile.
