Bye Bye Birdie is the spring play on stage at Moffat County High School starting Thursday and running through Saturday, April 3-5.
Twenty-five cast members range from 8th grade to seniors, including Ronin Miller, Keylee Bower, Guadalupe Lopez, and Perrin Smith.
There is a live orchestra of students and community members. Shows are at 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. extra matinee on Saturday.

The Story of Bye Bye Birdie
Conrad Birdie has been drafted to the army. As a farewell, the rock and roll star is scheduled to sing Albert Peterson’s song, “One Last Kiss” and kiss a girl from Sweet Apple, Ohio live on the Ed Sullivan Show. However, Conrad’s hip-thrusting makes more than one man in town uncomfortable, many of whom attempt to stop the show from happening. Meanwhile, Rosie wonders if Alfred, for whom she does everything, will ever leave his mother’s shadow.
