The summer schedule for Steamboat Springs Transit bus service begins Monday, April 14. Local bus rides are free every day, on every route. The Main Line has a continuous 20-minute loop between west Steamboat Springs, downtown, and the mountain. All buses have bike racks, and will have extra service during busy summer events.

The Moffat County Board of County Commissioners is meeting with Jennifer Riley, the CEO of Memorial Regional Health today. Commissioners will participate in a workshop with representatives from Memorial Regional Health regarding a County employee health benefits proposal. (BCCR)

Two Steamboat Springs High School students have been awarded the Daniels Fund Scholarship. They are Zoey Beckner and Lillian Hammer. It’s a four-year full college scholarship to all partner schools, or $100,000 to other schools across the United States. The number of Daniels Fund Scholarships given in Colorado was 156.
Brynna Tafoya from Meeker High School, James Talbot from Rangely High School, and Elijah Boomer from Middle Park High School in Granby were also awarded a Daniels Fund Scholarship.

The 14th Annual Dancing with the Stars delighted a packed house Saturday night at Strings. The fundraiser raised $180,000 for CASA, which is Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children.

The Sailors Athletics Auction, Awards & Luau is Monday, April 14, at Steamboat Springs High School. The auction page is open at SailorsAthletics.com. Awards start at 5:30 p.m. in the theater, followed by the luau dancers and dinner. It’s the 17th year for the Steamboat Sailor Luau and Pio Utu fundraiser which raises money for the Pio Utu Scholarship and Booster Club.
High Voltage Athletics presents the 2025 Cheer Camp, for pre-K through 12th graders. It’s at 6:15 p.m. April 14-18, at 583 Yampa Ave. Then the camp participants will perform April 19 at Moffat County High School. The cost is $40. Form to register
