Final numbers from Steamboat Resort this past season. The snow total was 303” with 40 Champagne Powder Days. The gondola opens for the summer season on May 23 for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and then daily on June 13.

The Moffat County Board of County Commissioners meets this morning. Jeff Comstock is on the agenda with a report from the Natural Resources Department. Also the board is expected to proclaim National Day of Prayer in Moffat County.
Craig City Council has a meeting tonight. A workshop on the Moffat County Vision 2025 Transition Plan is at 5 p.m. One agenda item during the regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. is a report from Caleb Cagle on the Sassquatch Party Zone and the plan for community events this year.
The Craig Chamber of Commerce is doing a short Community Survey. They say, “whether you’ve lived in Craig your whole life or just moved here, your perspective matters,” and that there are no right or wrong answers. A link is on the Community Calendar on our website. Link to Survey
Colorado State Patrol is sending a summer reminder about the dangers of riding in a vehicle with an unrestrained pet, saying a free-roaming pet can become “a deadly projectile during a crash or sudden stop.” Use a crate or carrier anchored to the vehicle. Leave the front seat for humans. Keep heads inside, and never leave your pet alone in a car, especially as temperatures start to warm.

The SBT GRVL ride is looking for vendors for race day in Hayden, on June 29. The Hayden Community Festival is in Dry Creek Park. There is no cost to be a vendor. For more, contact Greer Van Dyck at greer@sbtgrvl.com.
SBT GRVL is inviting cyclists to a casual spin on the airport loop. Meet at Ride Workshop, which is at 910 Yampa Street in Steamboat Springs between 4-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22. At 5:30 p.m. there will be an SBT GRVL information session and happy hour with locals and members of the cycling community to find out more about the 2025 SBT GRVL ride. Beverages and light snacks will be provided.
The Amble Project at the base of Steamboat Resort has topped out, meaning the final beam has been placed on the structure, which will be a residential community of 42 residences. The Amble is set to open in Spring of 2026.

A second development near the Meadows parking lot has also just been announced. The ROAN Townhomes are being sold through The Steamboat Group.
