A long line of people were seen walking along 20-mile road, headed towards Steamboat Springs today. They started at 5 a.m. and finished at 10 a.m. at the Catholic Church.
Marisol Corrau says they are all from Craig.
“It’s like a spiritual renewal and you offer your sacrifice to the Lord.”
Corrau says the group walked eight miles Saturday. It is something that is done worldwide every 25 years called a Jubilee Holy Year Pilgrimage that is a a special time of prayer, pilgrimage, and spiritual renewal for Catholics worldwide.
The local group also had Jubilee 2025 Prayers for Pilgrimage to the Holy Door prayer cards.
