The Hamric family of Steamboat Springs is launching the “Live Big. Love Big. Jesse Cyrus Hamric Foundation for Fearless Love and Courage.” It’s to honor their son, Jesse Hamric, who died last summer while on a family vacation. Jesse had just graduated from Steamboat Springs High School. Here’s more from Jesse’s dad, Jay Hamric.
“We are hoping to create this foundation to honor this community, and the values and the way that Jesse lived was shaped by the people in this community and the opportunities that he had. With his passing, we’re hoping to create this foundation, we’re hoping to give back to this incredible place that we live in Steamboat Springs.”
The Hamric Family is launching the foundation with a kickoff celebration at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, at Flying Diamond Ranch in Oak Creek. Tickets are on sale now.
