The theme of the 2025 4th of July Parade in Steamboat is “Salute to Dog Town USA.”

It’s time to register your float for the parade, which is at 10 a.m. on the 4th of July. The deadline to register is June 27. The cost is $125 for a community group and non-profit, and $275 for political groups and businesses.

Presenting the 2025 Fourth of July Parade Theme & Grand Marshals
Steamboat Springs, Colorado – May 19, 2025 – The Steamboat Springs Fourth of July Parade, presented by the Steamboat Springs Chamber and Yampa Valley Bank, will take place Friday, July 4 at 10 a.m. on Lincoln Avenue between 6th and 10th streets.
Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate in this deep-rooted Independence Day tradition with a parade float. Judging will occur in front of the judge’s stage on the corner of 8th & Lincoln Ave., and performances will be judged on originality, creativity, and spirit.
“Yampa Valley Bank is proud to celebrate this year’s ‘Salute to Dog Town USA’ themed 4th of July parade in Steamboat, honoring the furry friends that make our community special,” said PJ Wharton, President and CEO of Yampa Valley Bank. “We’re especially thrilled to recognize Elaine Hicks, Executive Director at Routt County Humane Society and Kathy Connell, President of Steamboat Digs Dogs—two inspiring leaders who have made a lasting impact on animal welfare in the Yampa Valley.”
Float registration for the parade is now open. The price to register is $125 for community groups and non-profits, and $275 for for-profit businesses and political groups. The deadline to register is June 27, 2025.
