Congratulations to the Class of 2025.

 

Today is graduation for Yampa Valley High School, at 1 p.m. at Yampa River Botanic Park. There are ten graduates.

Graduation for the four 8th graders and the pre-k kids at North Routt Community Charter School is at 1:30 p.m. today.

 

Tonight is graduation for Hayden High School. The ceremony starts at 6 p.m. There 21 Hayden Tigers graduating.

 

Moffat County High School Class of 2025 graduation is at 10 a.m. Saturday. There are 109 Bulldogs graduating.

Steamboat Springs High School graduation is at 10 a.m. at Gardner Field on Saturday. There are 186 Sailors graduating.

 

SoRoCo High School Class of 2025 graduation is at 11 a.m. Saturday with 18 graduates.

 

The DUI Enforcement Team with Colorado State Patrol is in Routt County for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Watch for increased patrols through Sunday.

CSP asks to call State Patrol if you suspect an impaired driver. Dial *CSP, which is *277. Or call 970-249-4392. Be prepared with a description of the vehicle, license plate number, location and direction of travel, and a driver description if you have one. Calls can also be made to 9-1-1.

Steamboat Resort opens for summer operations Friday, May 23. The resort is open weekends until June 13 when it opens daily. Trails are still drying out and will open as conditions allow. Ikon Passholders can use their pass for summer access to the gondola.

The Humane Society of Moffat County is running low on pet food. They need canned cat food and smaller bags of dry cat and dog food. The shelter is at 2430 E. Victory Way in Craig.

 

The Boys and Girls Club in Craig is closed Friday, May 23rd, through May 30 for summer cleaning. Summer camp starts June 2 in Craig.

 

In Craig, the Daughters of the American Revolution, American Legion, and VFW will be putting flags out in the Craig Cemetery, from 5-7 p.m. tonight.

 

Grand Old West Days is at the Moffat County Fairgrounds, starting today. This includes the CSHRA Colorado State High School and Junior High School rodeo finals. The Jarrod Morris concert is Saturday after the Professional Cowboy Exhibition. The carnival is also at the Moffat County Fairgrounds through Monday.

The Hayden Granary Barn Dance is Saturday night. It starts at 6:30 p.m. The band is Fritz and Friends. Find out more at HaydenGranary.org

 

The Free Summer Music Fest at Snow Bowl Steamboat starts this Sunday, from 2-8 p.m. and is then every Wednesday this summer. The headliner is Pixie & the Partygrass Boys on Sunday.
