Craig Water is doing work to identify all unknown water service in public water systems to reduce or eliminate lead. It’s required by state and federal government. There are 142 areas that will involve hydro excavating, or potholing, to get a sample of these unknown water lines. Craig Water and Wastewater Director Carl Rays says residents who will be affected will get a door hanger on their door.
