Halestorm are sharing their latest track titled “Darkness Always Wins,” the first taste of the band upcoming new album Everest, set for release August 8th. The upcoming Halestorm album will be the follow-up to 2022’s Back From the Dead.

Lzzy Hale shares of the single: “‘Darkness Always Wins’ is not a song of hope, nor is it a song of despair. It is reality. History repeating. Evil prevails and the good depart first. But we are not doomed as long as we persist and keep our fires burning. The war may not be won in this lifetime. But our mission is to pass the torch so that those who follow have a light to fight with.”  The song was produced by Dave Cobb, known for his work with Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, and others.

Halestorm will serve as support on Iron Maiden’s UK/European tour in the early summer, and will also support Volbeat on a US tour beginning in mid July.
