Be aware of extra traffic in downtown Steamboat on Saturday afternoon. There is a rally on the lawn of the historic Routt County Courthouse at 2 p.m. as a part of the nationwide No Kings protests being held in Colorado and across the United States.
The Gun Safe Distribution Event is at 6th and Oak in Routt County, from noon to 3 p.m. this afternoon. Gun safes and lock boxes will also be available at the Steamboat Springs Farmers Market Saturday and the Oak Creek Markers Market Sunday. Moffat County Public Health says they also have gun safes available, with a limit of one per household. Call to make an appointment for a gun safety item at 970-701-7915, as walk-ins are not accepted for this program.
The Hayden Granary is hosting a barn dance tonight. It starts around 6:30 p.m. at the Hayden Granary at 198 East Lincoln Ave. in Hayden. Donations are accepted. Find out more at HaydenGranary.org

VFW Post 4265 in Craig is hosting an American flag retirement ceremony with the Moffat County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday. Flags can still be dropped off at the VFW in Craig. Then the retirement ceremony is at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Moffat County Safety Center on 1st Street in Craig.

Rock Out in the Park at Alice Pleasant Park in Craig. The free concert benefits Partners for Youth. It’s from 3-9 p.m. Saturday.

It is Local’s Week at Haymaker Golf Course in Steamboat Springs, starting on Sunday, June 15-20. Golf is free for kids 17 and under, with a paying adult, there are deals in the pro shop and at the restaurant with Happy Hour from 3-5 p.m. every day through Friday. Also, NEXT Friday, there is a Fish-Fry Boat Party with live music from 5-7 p.m. on the Patio Grill.

The Yampa Egeria Museum Quilt Show at Crossan’s Market starts Sunday and runs through August 1. Family quilts will be on display in South Routt County.
The Steamboat Springs Farmers Market is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday.
Then this Sunday, it’s the first weekend for the Oak Creek Farmers Market. It’s from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, in the Oak Creek Downtown Park at Main Street and Sharp. The Oak Creek Farmers Market is every Sunday through Aug. 31.
Moffat County residents are being asked to remove any decorations that were placed at the Craig Cemetery for Memorial Day by today.
