Work continues just west of Steamboat Springs at Downhill Drive and U.S. Highway 40. Concrete will be poured this week for the curb, gutter, and sidewalk on the southeast corner of the intersection, and prep work will be done on the northwest corner. The section of Downhill Drive will be closed for about four months but businesses there will remain open. The speed limit is 30 miles per hour and traffic is intermittently reduced to a single lane.
