About 3,000 people showed up to Howelsen Hill on the 4^th of July to watch the 20^th Annual Jumpin’ and Jammin’ Ski Jumping Extravaganza.

Arthur Tirone with Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club won the final elimination round of the ski jump competition. Steamboat’s Arthur Keller was second and Ethan Maines 4^th overall.

McKenzie Maines, also with SSWSC won the top spot for women and finished 5^th overall out of the 84 athletes competing from clubs around the country and Canada.

SSWSC’s Arthur Tirone Wins 2025 Jumpin’ and Jammin’ and McKenzie Maines is Top Female

The 20th Annual Jumpin’ and Jammin’ Ski Jumping Extravaganza was nothing short of spectacular on Friday, July 4. Temperatures were the cool, and the crowd was impressive with over 3,000 people packed into the jump flats at Howelsen Hill for food, music, otter pops, and impressive jumping from the athletes. The band rocked, the kids played, and the jumpers impressed guests from all over the country. SSWSC athletes and alumni had two days of stellar ski jumping and nordic combined action, dominating the top podium spots in all competitions. SSWSC’s Arthur Tirone won the final elimination round of the ski jump competition and McKenzie Maines won the top spot for the women with an incredible 5th place finish overall.
