The Rocky Mountain Wyoming Type 3 Incident Management Team has updated the Crosho Fire for Monday, Aug. 18. The size has increased from 2,004 acres on Sunday to 2,037 today, with 8% containment. Still no structures have been damaged or destroyed.
Twelve crews are at the scene with 330 personnel, four dozers, four aircraft, and four water tenders. There are three Type 3 engines, one Type 4 engine, and nine Type 6 engines.
Emergency closures are in place around the area of the Crosho Fire in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests.
Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are still in place.
Road barricades are in place and travel is restricted. The Routt County Emergency Incident Map has been updated with these road closures.

- Intersection of Routt County Road 25 and Routt County Road 132A
- Rio Blanco County Road 8 (Dunckley Pass) closed at intersection of Rio Blanco County Roads 8 and 19
Firefighters made progress over the weekend with cool temperatures, calm winds, and some light precipitation but warmer and drier weather is expected this week which could increase fire behavior.
