A group of seniors in Craig called, “Preserving the Last Frontier,” has a special guest at their meeting Saturday. Bob Sweeney is the founding publisher and editor of the Craig Press newspaper. He’s back in Craig to talk about how the paper started. Here’s Dan Davidson with the Museum of Northwest Colorado.

“It’s going to be him specifically talking about the history of the Daily Press, the Northwest Colorado Press, and them founding it and interesting things that happened in Craig during the 60s and 70s.”

The talk with Bob Sweeney, and his wife, Gerri, is at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Yampa Building, which is the Chamber of Commerce Building. All are invited.
