Moffat County High School hosted the Moffat County Invitational Saturday at Loudy-Simpson Park.

Moffat County Invitational 2025 Results

Here are the local team results. Pictures are below.

 

  • In the Boys 5000-Meter Run, Moffat County was first and Steamboat Springs finished 5th overall.
  • For the Girls 5000-Meter Run, the top local schools were Steamboat Springs in 3rd and Moffat County in 6th.
  • In the Boys 3000-meter Run team finals, Steamboat Springs Middle School was first, followed by East Grand, Craig, and SoRoCo Middle Schools.
  • In the Girls 3000-meter run team finals, Steamboat Springs Middle School was first followed by Craig and East Grand.

 

This Friday, the Steamboat Sailors and the SoRoCo Rams are headed to the Summit Stinger to compete at Copper Mountain. It’s known as “the world’s highest and toughest grass XC course.”

SSHS Head coach Lisa Renee Tumminello writes, “We continued to be so encouraged and inspired by our team’s progress, with many young and first time XC athletes.”

The Moffat County Bulldogs are headed to Delta to compete at Confluence Park this Friday.
