Screamboat is coming back from the dead, but with a few changes. Instead of being at Colorado Mountain College, the very scary Screamboat Haunted House will be at the old McKnight’s Irish Pub in Wildhorse Plaza.
Ric MacNeil is the owner and mastermind behind the chillingly scary and frightening Screamboat Haunted House.
“It is going to be scarier than ever before. We’re excited to bring this back and just give the community a fun night out for Halloween.”

There will be over 15 rooms with over 20 animatronics and animations, with live scare actors in front of the building.
Screamboat this year will be October 24, 25, 26 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and then the following weekend of Oct. 30, 31, and Nov. 1 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). Hours are 6-10 p.m.
Screamboat is not recommended for young children, and it is suggested that any children or young teenagers come with a parent and at a parent’s discretion.
There will be one hour at 5 p.m. on one day where the lights will be on for people and maybe younger children to take a less-scary tour. Those details are being finalized.
The cost is $27 per person. Details are being finalized for donations to certain local nonprofits.
Screamboat was on the campus of Colorado Mountain College for 24 years. It was not held there last year.
