The Oak Ridge Boys have announced that their ‘American Made Christmas Tour’ will return for a limited run of holiday performances in select cities this holiday season.

The tour will feature long-time members Duane Allen, William Lee Golden, and Richard Sterban, with Ben James joining as the new tenor following Joe Bonsall’s death in 2024. The group will deliver a mix of traditional and contemporary holiday favorites, along with some of their biggest hits, and will also perform selections from their seven Christmas albums.

The tour will also mark the Oak Ridge Boys final holiday tour as part of their farewell performances. Duane Allen shares that “Christmas time has always been our favorite time of year. Getting to see everyone during the holidays, singing our favorite Christmas songs, both traditional and new, is something I look forward to all year long. Come on out and see us if you can.”

The holiday tour will go forward as planned, despite the announcement that Richard Sterban — who’s been a member of the group for over 53 years — was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sterban said in a statement: “In March of this year, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. But I am under the care of the best cancer doctors in the country and, with the help of the Good Lord above, I believe I will be able to get through this. I want to thank everyone, especially the fans, for your concern, and I would appreciate your continued prayers. Most days I’m feeling very good, and I hope to be back out on the road in several months.”  Sterban last appeared with the group at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May; Aaron McCune and Tim Duncan have been filling in for him on the road.
