Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden is busy with holiday travel this week.
On Tuesday, there are 16 flights scheduled out of the local regional airport, on four airlines, with 17 incoming flights schedule to arrive in Hayden. More information is at FlySteamboat.com
Here’s a friendly reminder if you’re flying out of Yampa Valley Regional Airport – HDN. Get there with plenty of time during this busy holiday season. Bags must be checked 45 minutes before domestic flights and an hour before departure for international flights.
The Moffat County Board of County Commissioners meets today. Agenda items include a report from the Finance Department, a report from Candace Miller on the final payment approval for the airport runway project at the Craig/Moffat County Airport, and Kyle Miller has a report from Memorial Regional Health.

At the base of Steamboat Resort, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., it’s the big New Year’s Eve Snow Cat Parade and Fireworks.
Snow Bowl Steamboat also has a big New Year’s Eve bowling party, with bowling and dancing, and a (bowling) ball drop at 10 p.m. and midnight.
The Steamboat Skating Club has a Winter Wonderland on Ice from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Howelsen Ice Arena.
In Craig, there’s a New Year’s Eve Ice Skating Party at Moffat County Ice Arena, from 6-9 p.m.
Two local groups came together to raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Colorado this past weekend. The Agency Steamboat Springs and SBNY hosted an evening fundraiser with each dollar sold being matched for the Boys & Girls Club. The total amount raised was $22,400.
