Paid parking and carpool options are available at the Knoll Lot

You can now reserve a parking spot in the Upper Knoll parking lot at Steamboat Resort. Rates start at $22 a day and must be made by 10 p.m. the night before. If you organize a carpool through the Steamboat Carpool app, you could also be eligible for a guaranteed parking space in the Knoll Lot. You must have three people in your car and 25 pre-arranged spots will be available each day.

The Knoll Lot will still be a free lot, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. But now there will be a limited number of carpool and reservation spaces available every day.

Spaces are limited right now because of Music Fest. The MusicFest tent is up in the Knoll Lot through Jan. 15. Parking spaces will again be limited during WinterWonderGrass, Feb. 20-March 8.

The lower Knoll Triangle lot closes Monday, Jan. 5 through Jan. 10.

There is still free parking in the eastern half of the Knoll Lot, and down at the Meadows Lot. Paid parking is available in the Gondola Square Parking Structure.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS – January 1, 2026 – Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation (SSRC) introduces new parking reservation and carpool incentive options in the Upper Knoll parking lot for the 2025-26 winter season. Guests who prepay for parking reservations or who organize carpools through the Steamboat Carpool app will be eligible for a guaranteed parking space in the Upper Knoll lot. A limited number carpool and reservation spaces will be available each day, and the Upper Knoll lot will still operate as a free lot on a first come, first served basis.

Parking Reservations Reservations are available through the ParkMobile app. Rates start at $22 per day and must be made by 10 p.m. the night before arrival. Reservations are now available for the season and will be limited or unavailable during events in the Upper Knoll lot including MusicFest (Jan. 2-13) and WinterWonderGrass (Feb. 20-Mar. 8). Guests may reserve multiple days throughout the season, but each reservation must be made in a separate transaction. Pre-Arranged Carpools The first 25 pre-arranged carpools each day, organized through the Steamboat Carpool app (available for download here), will receive guaranteed parking in the Upper Knoll lot. Carpools must include three or more individuals. Carpools must be arranged and allocated through the Steamboat Carpool app by 10 p.m. the night before arrival to be eligible.
