Property Management at The Amble to be managed by Steamboat Resort

Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation Signs Letter of Intent with The Amble

Steamboat Springs, CO. January 7, 2025 – Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation (SSRC) announces that a Letter of Intent (LOI) has been signed with The Amble for SSRC to provide property management services, marking an important step expanding SSRC’s presence in the lodging and hospitality space. Subject to the execution of a property management agreement that is ultimately approved by the property’s Homeowners Association (HOA), SSRC intends to provide HOA and Short-Term Rental (STR) management services for the new 42-residence property at the base of the ski area.

The Amble offers one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom individually owned residences located across from the Transit Center and adjacent to the Steamboat Grand. Construction began on the property in spring 2024 and sales of the residences are underway ahead of the anticipated opening of the property in summer 2026.

“Our goal is to elevate the ownership and guest experience by leveraging everything Steamboat has to offer,” said Vice President of Lodging for SSRC, Blair McNamara. “From dynamic rental management to personalized owner services, we’re committed to delivering a level of quality and convenience that reflects the western hospitality Steamboat is known for.”

Under this management structure, SSRC would work with the property’s HOA to oversee operations. In addition to HOA management covering owner support and building maintenance, the STR services could include access to Steamboat Central Reservations through Steamboat.com, guest services, housekeeping, and more. By expanding its inventory of lodging options under the Steamboat brand, SSRC aims to deliver a comprehensive management program that combines world-class hospitality with the advantages that come with being directly connected to one of North America’s premier ski destinations.
