Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club has qualified 23 athletes for Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Junior National Championships. Training is today and tomorrow (March 11-12) at Howelsen Hill, with Nordic Combined and special jumping events and cross-country races starting Friday at Romick Rodeo Arena. Competition continues at Howelsen Hill through the weekend. You’re invited to go and watch any of the competitions.

Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club Qualifies 23 athletes for Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Junior National Championships
The Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Junior National Championships will be held in Steamboat Springs March 11-15, 202 at Howelsen Hill
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club (SSWSC) announced today that 23 athletes have qualified for the 2026 Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Junior National Championships as part of the Rocky Mountain Division Junior Championship Team. The 2026 Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Junior National Championships take place March 11–15 in Steamboat, at Howelsen Hill.
U16 boys include Nico Bowdre, Connor VanOveren, Miles Warnke, Owen Trimble, Arthur Keller, Everett Baldwin, Kaden Graham, Theo Givnish, Langdon Devin, Ike Feiges, Logan VanOveren, Flynn Oslowski, and Max Aljanich. U16 girls include Mackenzie Maines, Charlotte Fleming, Valentina Broggi, and Piper Mouttet.
U20 boys include Arthur Tirone, Sawyer Graves, Ethan Maines, and Austin Johnson, and U20 women include Haley Brabec and Ella Wilson.
Arthur Tirone, Haley Brabec, Sawyer Graves, and Langdon Devin will not be competing.
Athletes will use Wednesday and Thursday as training days on the jumps and cross-country courses. Competition begins Friday, March 13, with the Nordic Combined and Special Jumping individual events on the HS75 jumps (HS = hill size) and cross-country races in the Romick Rodeo Area. On Saturday, March 14, the team competitions will take place on the HS75 jumps, with cross-country races in the Romick Rodeo Area.
Sunday, March 15, will feature an individual elimination jump competition, with awards for all events in the evening.
