Howelsen Hill closes for its 110th Winter Season this Sunday, with Ski Free Sunday. You can ski and ride for free, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closing day activities are planned throughout the day. The tubing hill is open for half price tickets. Howelsen Hill is the longest continuously operating ski area in North America.

Ag Appreciation Week, presented by the Community Agriculture Alliance, continues. The schedule is at CommunityAgAlliance.org Tonight is the Ag Week Celebration and Awards Night. It starts at 6 p.m. at STARS Ranch.

Today is the deadline to apply to be on the committee to interview candidates for the job of superintendent for the Steamboat Springs School District. It’s a volunteer position to help with the interview process for finalists. There is an Interview Training Session March 31 and finalist interviews are April 14. Moffat County’s Meat-In Day is a way to support local businesses and agriculture.

Sunday, Wildhorse Cinema & Arts is hosting a family friendly event Sunday called Insight for Kids: Create Day. This is from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, presented by the Western Resiliency Center. It’s a hands-on, family-friendly art experience focused on creativity, reuse, and environmental stewardship.
