A man living in Steamboat Springs died at Steamboat Resort Saturday.

He has been identified as 25-year-old Jack McGrath, by Routt County Coroner Mitch Locke, who confirmed that McGrath was living in Steamboat Springs. He was with the Ski Butlers team.

Communications Director Maren Franciosi says the accident was off of Buddy’s Run on the mountain.

She added, “Our Ski Patrol responded immediately and provided life-saving care, but despite these efforts, the individual passed away. We extend our heartfelt condolences to their family, friends, and loved ones.”
