Carly Pearce and Riley Green have teamed up for a new duet, “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay,” written by Devin Dawson, Seth Ennis, Jordan Minton, and Jordan Reynolds.

Pearce previously teased the collaboration online, even clearing her Instagram page before sharing a short preview that sparked speculation among fans. The duet follows recent releases including “Church Girl” and “Dream Come True,” both expected to appear on Pearce’s upcoming fifth studio album.

The track, which was co-produced by Pearce and her longtime collaborator Ben West, had Pearce expressing excitement about the collaboration, saying: “Collaborating with artists I’m a fan of is one of my favorite things to do. I’ve been a fan of Riley’s for so long and knew if we could find the right moment, it would be special. ‘If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay’ is the perfect moment for us!”

Green echoed the sentiment, adding, “I’ve been a huge fan of Carly and her voice for a long time, so it was cool to get the text from her about this song. The harmonies were unique and there was something really different about it. I’m glad she thought of me for this song, it’s awesome to get to do something together.”

An accompanying music video directed by Wes Edwards premiered alongside the song. The clip mirrors the track’s tension, showing the pair debating whether to continue their night together or part ways, leaving the outcome up to viewers.

Beyond new music, Pearce is preparing for a busy touring schedule. She’ll return to Australia to perform at the CMC Rocks before heading to the U.K. and Ireland for her Inside The Dream Tour, which includes a special performance at the iconic Royal Albert Hall during the Highways Festival.
