June is Pride Month. To support it, and the LGBTQ community, a group organized a Yampa Valley Pride event on the courthouse lawn Saturday, in downtown Steamboat. Chelsie Holmes was one of the event organizers.

Tents were set up by different groups, which was good because it really rained. Organizations that were there included Integrated Community, BookTrails, Routt County United Way, Latinx Alliance, Young Bloods Collective, and the Routt County Democrats had a table set up to register people to vote.
