The Yampa River Fund celebrated their recent endowment goal of $5 million with a gathering at Yampa River Botanic Park in Steamboat Thursday. The other big announcement was about a recent $5,000 donation from Big Agnes, with a special camp chair they’ve created. Here’s Andy Baur with the Yampa River Fund for the Nature Conservancy.

The Yampa River Fund supports projects that help the Yampa in both Routt and Moffat Counties. It has been in operation for two years and has provided $400,000 in grants to groups that keep the river healthy.
