It’s a big football weekend for the 8^th graders at Steamboat Springs Middle School. They’re playing the team from Craig Middle School, on Steamboat’s home turf. Here’s head coach Marco Cuevas.

There’s plenty of pressure since the Steamboat 8^th graders haven’t lost a game in two years, and no one has scored on them either. Here’s tight end/middle linebacker Abbott Gautreaux.

The middle school players would love to see some fans at the game. The 7^th graders play at 10 a.m. and then the 8^th graders are on the field right after that, around 11:30 p.m., on the new turf at Steamboat Springs Middle School.
