The Steamboat Cross Country Track team competed in the Copper Mountain Cup this weekend. The Steamboat girls team won the meet and the boys were second by just one point. It was a 5K run on a very technical mountain course with a long 22% grade climb and a very technical downhill.

They’re off to Grand Junction Thursday for the Warrior Classic Invitational. Forty-five Steamboat athletes will be competing.
