Prom at Steamboat Springs High School is coming up Saturday night, May 14. The After-Prom Committee is busy making final plans for the big night.

After-Prom starts at midnight at the high school with a fun evening of activities, games, dodgeball, casino games, bull riding, and the hypnotist. The After-Prom committee transforms the high school and makes it a safe place for the students where they spend the evening, to keep them safe and off the streets.

The After-Prom Committee of parents is asking for support from the community. They need donations of prizes and food from Steamboat businesses and restaurants.

And they need financial donations from parents, past and present, to make it a safe successful night. Checks can be made out to SSHS After Prom and dropped off at the high school.

Volunteers are also needed for set-up, the night of the event, and clean-up the next morning. Parents, look for an email in your inbox. Or call Karin at 970-846-0427. Here is the link to sign up to volunteer. LINK TO SIGN UP

  • 4-10 p.m. Friday, May 13 with SETUP
  • 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday-Sunday with the event (really fun!)
  • 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning to help with clean up (PLEASE)

SEE IT FOR YOURSELF – The community is invited to see the high school transformed into the After Prom event from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, May 14. You’ll love it!
