Leaders from the Colorado Outdoor Recreation office also gathered in Steamboat Springs this week, to talk about projects related to economic development and recovering in the outdoor recreation sector.

Robin Hall is the CEO OF Town Hall Outdoor Company.
“The inspiration and the innovation that is taking place in the whole Yampa Valley, all the way from Toponas to Dinosaur, is just fantastic. To bring all these groups and companies together to share brain space knowledge and to boost each other up has just been huge. And then to be heard at the state level and hear what great initiatives they have going on, it’s just incredible.”
Colorado’s House Representative Dylan Roberts also attended the presentation.
“It was very exciting and important to have the Outdoor Recreation office come to Steamboat and to come to Northwest Colorado, because they have some excellent assistance and grant programs available to help businesses in our community and across the Yampa Valley grow and expand and create jobs here. For them to be here and to tell business owners about those programs and about those opportunities is really important and I hope that our region can take advantage as a result.”
The community presentation and listening session was hosted by Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office at the Big Agnes offices in Steamboat Springs. It was held in partnership with the Routt County Economic Development Partnership and the Yampa Valley OREC Coalition.
