The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation made the announcement about the migration corridor for elk and mule deer in northwestern Colorado. Colorado Parks and Wildlife says the area encompasses the state’s top priority migration corridor used by Colorado’s two largest migratory herds of deer and elk. Up to 10,000 elk cross the property twice each year. Hunters will also continue to have access through the private property through CPW’s Ranching for Wildlife Program.
