“Beef has been one of the most important things in Routt County. It’s what the town of Steamboat Springs was based on. Our beef is 100% free range, grass fed. And it’s just like farm-to-table. We get grain from a dealer in Craig. And we take our steers right off the herd. And we bring them to the house and feed them on grain up until the day of the sale.”

Thursday night is the Draft Horse Competition and Bonfire. Friday is the Goat Show, Sheep Show, and the Demolition Derby, which is sold out.

A full schedule of the Routt County Fair is here. Routt County Fair 2023
