Paula Kay Hall has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession to distribute methamphetamine. Hall had been tracked from Denver to Craig on a drug run. Moffat County Sheriff’s Officers and Craig Police stopped her car on Victory Way. A K9 dog alerted officers to the scent of controlled substances. A search found 800 grams of meth, 580 fentanyl pills, and over 10 grams of cocaine, hidden in a stuffed animal in the trunk of her car. This was Hall’s third conviction.

Colorado State Patrol said drugs and/or alcohol was involved. Mulanax is also on two years of supervised probation and has to serve 150 hours of community service.

The U.S. Post Office has denied a claim of a Steamboat Springs woman, for thousands of dollars of damage to her car, caused by icy ruts in the Steamboat Springs Post Office parking lot. It happened last January. The Claims Department says, “not our fault,” despite sending them pictures and videos of the icy parking lot. They told her there wasn’t any proof.
And we have emailed the post office once again, to ask when Steamboat Springs residents will find out if they no longer have to pay for a P.O. Box when they have no other way to get their mail. Once again.
