
Colorado State Patrol has announced a Statewide Enforcement Day today, Friday, Oct. 13. CSP is partnering with local law enforcement across Colorado to provide high visibility enforcement. They are targeting the violations that put all at risk for serious injuries or fatal crashes.
Last year, Colorado hit a 41-year high with 754 deaths in traffic crashes.
This is a statewide operation. It was last done on August 4. Here are the results:
- Total Contacts with all agencies: 1,198
- DUI Arrests: 11
- Seatbelt Citations: 41
- Distracted Driving Citations: 110
- Auto Theft Recovery: 1
