Watch for a Zombie Invasion for Halloween. They say it’s “a small town’s nightmare.”
The Zombie Invasion is happening at the Amaze ‘n Steamboat maze. Some of those zombies running the show are owners Gray Kohlhase and Frederica Manning.
“It’s special because we’ve been here for 28 years. We’re a small-time, local business that cares about the community. It’s a fun, drug-free place for everybody to come, families, old people, young people, two to 92. And why are people going to like it? Because it’s scary. The zombies are coming. You never know who is behind you.”
The Amaze’ n Steamboat Zombie Invasion is from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Halloween night, (Oct. 27, 28, and 31). The cost is $20 per soul.
Family Day is from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, with a less scary haunted maze for the kids. The cost is $10 for the Haunted Maze, $10 for Goblin Golf, or $15 for both.
A portion of the proceeds this year will be donated to Routt County Humane Society.
The Amaze’n Steamboat Giant Maze is at 125 Anglers Drive, behind the Chamber Visitor Center. 970-870-8682. www.Amazensteamboat.com
