Saturday was the Season Launch party for Steamboat Resort.

 

Dave Hunter and Rob Perlman also presented a check for $50,000 to Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. SSWSC Executive Director Brian Krill accepted the check on the Steamboat Stage.

 

 

“I truly appreciate the support from Steamboat Ski Resort. It really allows us to make sure that the normal kid here in Steamboat can still pursue their dreams.”

 

Over the past five years, Steamboat Resort has donated $2.5 million in cash and kind to the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. The donation provides financial support for local children participating in club programs and helps kids of all backgrounds to get outside and on the snow.

 

Also on Saturday, the resort provided Korbel Champagne and Champagne Powder Donut Holes to those at the base.

 

Then the band, “The Motet” took the stage to play for the rest of the afternoon.
