Amanda Arnold has been hired as the Director of Human Resources for Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. She starts the job next Tuesday, June 11.
Arnold has most recently served as Chief Operation Officer for Northwest Colorado Health, and she is the former Executive Director of Moffat County United Way.

Amanda Arnold Joins Steamboat Ski Resort Team as HR Director
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO- June 6, 2024 — Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation has hired Amanda Arnold as the resort’s new Director of Human Resources, starting on June 11.
“Amanda has a long history of serving Northwest Colorado through Moffat County United Way and Northwest Colorado Health and we are thrilled to bring her expertise to the resort’s HR department to support our talented teams,” said Bill Thomas, vice president of Human Resources for Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation.
Arnold most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of Northwest Colorado Health assisting in the development of short and long-range strategic objectives, operating business plans, policies and compliance activities. Prior to that she was Northwest Colorado Health’s Senior Director of Quality and Human Resources for five years and the Executive Director of Moffat County United Way. In her new role at SSRC, Arnold will manage the human resources department day to day operations and guide the resort’s approach to policy and program management, compensation and benefits, performance management, as well as compliance on a federal, state, and local level.

Arnold holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She serves as a volunteer for Connections 4 Kids and Christmas 4 Kids whose mission it is to strengthen resources and services for children ages 0-8, and their families, in Northwest Colorado, and was the Co-Chair of the Colorado Community Health Network HR Advisory Committee. Arnold, her husband and two teen children reside on 50 acres along with two pigs, two goats, two bunnies, two cats and three dogs.
