The Community Agriculture Alliance is moving to a new building at 35 11th Street in Steamboat Springs, at the end of the month. It will be called Yampa Valley Foods. This is where ranchers and ag producers from Routt, Moffat, and Rio Blanco counties can bring produce, products, and meats to sell to the community. Executive Director Michele Meyer there will be four times more freezer space.
“There’s going to be so much more freezer space that will reduce the amount of deliveries and time that farmers and ranchers need to bring products to the new expanded retail store.”
Meyer has announced she will no longer be the Executive Director of Community Ag Alliance. She has taken a job with the State of Colorado Department of Agriculture in the Markets Division, to run food and ag programs statewide. She starts her new job July 1.

“Putting in ideas, like the Spine or the skateboard. It’s a great skatepark.”
The new above-ground skatepark is for all skill levels with 40 features, including ramps, rails, boxes, ledges, and stairs. There are also new sidewalks and picnic tables.
